Industry leading training for authorised officers using the 
Environment Protection Act 2017

The Litter Enforcement Officer Network, in collaboration with EPA Victoria, Hanson, Saint Vincent de Paul Victoria and Barwon South West Waste & Resource Recovery Group (BSWWRG) delivered this industry leading training to 130 officers from across Victoria.

 

We hope this event was an opportunity for you to connect with authorised officers across Victoria and the training objectives were achieved. Training objectives included: 

  1. Understand the main waste provisions in the Environment Protection Act 2017

  2. Understand everyday use of enforcement tools from part 6.3 of the Environment Protection Act 2017

  3. Understand methods to estimate volume and identify appropriate offence
